Support the Junior League of Kalamazoo

The JLK is committed to developing the potential of women, improving the community through the effective action of trained volunteers, and promoting voluntarism. On average, we provide more than 500 volunteer hours of work per year in the Kalamazoo. None of this would be possible without our community’s support.

Ways to Give

The JLK offers many vehicles for support. You may elect to contribute cash to either our Annual Campaign or our Endowment Fund. You may sign up to sponsor one of our community-based fundraising events. You may choose to remember the JLK in your estate planning. Or, you can join us as a volunteer at an event.

  • Living for Today – The JLK Annual Campaign – The Annual Campaign helps support today’s immediate operational needs. This money allows the JLK to perform its daily operations and activities, including the projects and programming, training sessions, and basic office needs. This fund helps us keep the lights on and the community projects going.
  • Living for Tomorrow – The JLK Endowment Fund – The Endowment Fund helps sustain the JLK in perpetuity. The interest earned in the Endowment Fund helps offset operational costs. The Endowment Fund is managed by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation at https://connect.kalfound.org/give-now.
  • Living for a Legacy – Memorial and Planned Giving – Remember all your fond memories of your years in the JLK, or a JLK project that has made a positive impact in your life? Now you can gift in legacy to the JLK, without impacting your immediate cash-flow. Ensure that your funeral arrangements include that Memorial Gifts may be directed to the JLK or include a provision in your will or trust that a portion of your estate be gifted to the JLK.
  • Sponsorships – The JLK hosts community-based fundraisers throughout the year. Your cash donation will help these events achieve the greatest fundraising success. Sign up for one event sponsorship, or show your community support by becoming an Annual Champion, receiving prominent recognition at all JLK events.
  • Partnerships – The JLK has project based fundraisers & project collections throughout the year. Your cash or In-Kind donation will help these projects succeed.
  • Volunteer – A major tenet of the JLK is promoting voluntarism … and we would like you to join us as we make a positive, lasting impact in our community!
